The reception is tomorrow and after that I will finally have some breathing room to do fannish type things. I think, I need to finish editing that Vamp!Heero(sorta ^_~) story that I put out last year, and get some more work done on the next part. As always, Oct. 31 is a deadline for that sort of thing. Then November is coming up. What I would like to do is fold my fanfics into a 50,000 type NaNoWriMo. In all honesty I don't think I will get anywhere near 50,000 words in November so I won't even bother to make the commitment by actually signed up for the challenge, but I will put a effort to it.
Dangerous Bonds is being rewritten to make the story flow more naturally. Er, well, I really should go all the way back to part one (I personally have trouble reading it. I don't actively want to go back an count the years on this, it will make me feel Super old but I will say that over the last 10 years my writing style had matured some what. Anyway I wrote myself into a tight spot some 6 or 7 chapters beyond what is already posted, so going back to fix right where the posting ended is the best way to fix it.
Strange is... I know what I'm doing with the story, I know where it's going. It's all plotted out and believe me the plot is CONVOLUTED. I don't quite think that I have posted far enough into the story for people to get a sense of it. As if the machinations of Ken and flailing of Daisuke isn't complicated enough... Jeez, the story is following one story line/set of characters... Has anyone been wondering where Osamu went after he accosted Daisuke and Ken scared him off? Hmm. What sort of problems his actions, Past and Present, have been causing? What Miyako's end game is? Honestly, this story, unlike Dangerous Bonds, did not stall because of the story flow getting blocked, it idled because there is a lot, A LOT going on. I want to make sure I can juggle this effectively. Sadly, this started out as a sort of outlet for some personal issue I was having (write what you know) which are not necessarily issues (RHBG has been alarmingly absent since I've been pregnant... I don't want to speculate on what that means, at all.) Anyway, I am still very much writing this story, it gained a narrative beyond my personal problems and deserves to be finished.
The Puddles Arc has no ending? It just has a progression that follows the Digimon season 2 and it's behind the scenes and if it gets that far it will completely ignore episode 50. I don't think it goes that far though. I don't think it goes too much part DNA Digivolving. I very much don't I make it to the World Tour. It's adorable though, and I will very much try to let leave the story open ended, but still leave the option to see the future as you will. In other words, when I stop writing it, it will be obvious that I have finished, but that the story continues. I hope anyway.
A Me.S.S. I think I've talked about this but never posted it. It's a one shot short story length in the Gundam Wing fandom. It's a supernatural story (as in genre not fandom) and it was for a challenge that has long sense ended. I hope to still write it though.
The Two Roads Diverged Challenge... Umm Ha. Speaking of really old challenges. I could still finish this. I have all the plots from the stories I was supposed to write rattling around my head. It does indeed shame me that I started and so epically abandoned it. I want to finish it. Specifically I want to rewrite Death and the Thief of Hearts and do like a directors cut because in trying to keep to the time frame I had to cut out a big chunk of the story. There are some good Stories here and I'd like to write like the Digimon Prisoners of War story.... or the Gundam Wing Fighting Demons and saving the world. I'll have to look back at this.
GW!Cruel Intentions fic is funny in that it is probably the only fic I can remember writing where I was fair to Relena. Not that she isn't horrible it's just that Heero is a least as much of a Bitch as her and Duo holds his own. Oh and this has nearly nothing to do with Cruel Intentions the movie, mostly because I have NEVER seen that movie or well enough of that movie to follow its plot.
GW!Yuuzhan'Tar Look... I... I love Star Wars? Umm part of the reason I love Gundam Wing so much is the strength of the characters. I mean The GeoPolitical er SpacePolitical thing that story has going on is awesome but the real fun that I have there are the characters, who have such strongly defined archetypes but are also so incredibly malleable. SO obviously you'd want to that great characters and put them in a Great Setting... And holy shit my mind was eaten by Coruscant turned Yuuzhan'Tar (Like 15 years ago and I'm still stuck on this) and nothing would make me happier than turning Duo (bless his heart, the PlagueSurvivor/Orphan/Stowaway/Sweeper/Mechanic/Pilot/Shinigami) into a Smuggler Force Adept. Honestly I just want to have Jedi!Heero chasing Duo through the ruins of Coruscant Yuuzhan'Tar. (Oh honestly, even though the time frame is actually off, wouldn't Heero just make a PERFECT Old Republic Jedi all that self restrain and his code of conduct and... "sigh")I will probably never ever get around to writing it. I just want everyone to understand how beautiful this has been in my head for over a decade.
Oh and hey there was this Meme that was going around with all of these genre/tropes (Bodyswaps, amnesia, cross-dressing, apocalypse, ect.) and you take your fandoms/pairings and write a short story or a summary for the story would would write with those prompts... and I was thinking about doing that...
Then there's my Original stories. There's a massive one that's a novel, if not a book series. and then the other one which is a short story that's half written that needs to be finished...
I could write on all of that in November and the foreseeable future (Man I did not mean to go into all that detail or talk about all of those stories o.O)
Anyway, I'm kinda busy. Obviously ^_^
