November!

Ok... so It's November which is NAtionalNOvelWRItingMOnth (nanowrimo.com)

And While I never officiallly join the challenge thingy I try to keep pace and always ALWAYS fall way short... for instance...

2008:
I didn't even try.
2007:
I started, my dad died on the 13th and I pretty much stop writing for a year (hense the not even trying in 2008)
2006
I did pretty damn good I got past to 40,000 which was as far as I've ever been. I was working on original fiction I believe...and I don't think I've worked on that story since then.
2005:
I made some noises about trying but didn't really get into it cuz of personal issues... whatever.

Anyway... I'm trying ... but of course I missed Nov. 1st, so instead of 1,666+ words a day goal... I'm starting at a 1,725+ words a day goal. And then I do silly things like wasting the last 40 minutes researching my past NaNoWriMo attempts in my livejournal.

Oh, I started at work so I'm about 200 words in... probably more like 100 words actually....

So I'm going to be working on whatever story I can. Today was the Vampire story again, I'm about to start on that again. i'll be keeping one large progress file and then shooting everything else into it's proper chapters well see how it goes this year...

BTW,
I got 457 words at work today, on my cell phone, much better than I thought.

Hey, this post does NOT count towards the word totally. I wrote someone's email today that didn't count either. ;-P
